Vegetables
As the weather is getting warmer, May you kindly change their sleeping blankets and change clothes so they can be comfortable.
• Please log in to Class Dojo every morning for updates, and important announcements.
• Kindly label all of your child’s belongings (clothes, bottles, bags, lunch bags, cutlery etc.) to avoid any mix-ups.
- May you kindly apply sunscreen on our little ones in case we go outside, just to protect their skin from direct sunlight.
• Ensure your child brings extra clothes and diapers, so they stay comfortable throughout the day.
May we kindly dress our toddlers in school uniforms when they come to school.
Hello Safari family.
Welcome back to yet another exciting term ahead of us. As we have successfully moved to our New campus, our transition has been so smooth. We're so excited to be interacting and learning in our new environment and our little ones love it!
On Monday, we introduced our vegetable theme. This was an interesting theme for us as we got to appreciate vegetables and learn how healthy they are for us. We also did our letter sound /s/ for snake, sun, spinach, sweet potato and more. They learnt how to trace over it as well.
On Tuesday,
On Wednesday, they were more comfortable and we had a paper tearing activity. It was quite messy, but they loved it. They tried to fan as hard as they could and still have fun whilst at it.
On Thursday, we made a vegetable soup using a few ingredients available for us. We used carrots, cabbage, water and juice(as coloring). They got to practice stirring, and turn taking as they had to wait for each other.
On Friday, we did a carrot hand print. This was our favorite vegetable of the week. They made multiple prints and we also practiced our /s/ tracing on our white board. We then went on to make tiny carrots with our hand prints to end the week.
I'm glad they have settled in really well and hope to have a blast next week as we explore a different theme.
