Curriculum highlights
Hello Safari family.
Our week started off with an Assembly and it was led by Ms. Ciena and Mr. Stephan. Safari friends were paying close attention to the story of the fish as it was being narrated. Our new character trait for the week is being reflective! Really interesting way to start our week!
On Tuesday, we then introduced our theme for Pets. This was really interesting as we had some pictures from friends to relate to. We learnt how some animals could be kept at home and we could take care of them. We made a cat puzzle and it was hilarious.
On Wednesday, we then went a step further to actually take care of our pets by washing and drying them. This was more fun because it included water play and we learnt some words like "wash" and "dry".
On Thursday, we had to feed our dogs some bones and count them whilst on it. Counting is so much fun when you have something tangible and it's actually your work! Not only did they count but they also identified the numbers as well.
On Friday, we finished the week by making a fish craft and we colored the fish tank. We also finished off our color matching activity at will for each Safari friend. They enjoyed putting the pieces together.
