Week 13
This week's theme: Pet Animals

Reminders
Good day! With the weather getting warmer, we kindly ask that you dress your child in a suitable uniform to ensure they stay comfortable during the school day. Please continue to complete Class Dojo's temperature check each morning before 8am. Thank you for labeling your child's belongings for school. Please make sure new items (jackets, spoons, socks etc.) are also labelled.
Curriculum highlights
Our theme this week was Pets!
On Monday, we had another Morning Assembly, where we learned the importance of being reflective before making decisions. We enjoyed listening to a story that highlighted this wonderful character trait.
On Tuesday, we were introduced to two common household pets—cats and dogs. After talking about the sounds they make and how they are different, we created adorable paw print crafts. Stamp, stamp, stamp!
On Wednesday, we reviewed what we had learned through a fun Reveal Game. The children brushed away sand to uncover hidden pet pictures. It was an exciting activity that kept everyone engaged from start to finish.
On Thursday, we got creative again by making a dog craft using our footprints. It was a little ticklish, but so much fun, and we also had the chance to do some coloring activity.
On Friday, we learned about another popular pet that lives in the water—the fish! We also reviewed our colors through a fishbowl sorting activity, giving everyone a chance to practice color recognition while having fun.
