Curriculum highlights

Hello everyone! Thank you all again for making our Sports Day so much fun! We had such an energetic and exciting day, and it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves.

Our theme for this month is Animals, and this week we started learning about farm animals! We also learned a new song that was perfect for our theme—"Old MacDonald Had a Farm" and the children had so much fun singing along.

On Tuesday, the children were introduced to mommy and baby farm animals. We learned about pigs and piglets, cows and calves, sheep and lambs, and many more. The children enjoyed matching the mommy and baby animals together!

On Wednesday, we worked on our fine motor skills by rescuing farm animals that were "trapped" on blocks with rubber bands. After saving them, we built barns and cozy homes for all the animals.

On Thursday, our farm animals got very hungry! The children fed them animal feed and fruit using scoops in our fun "Scoop and Shoot" activity. Everyone had a great time practicing their scooping skills.

To end the week, we played a fun reveal game on Friday by tearing paper to uncover hidden farm animals. The children loved guessing the animals and making all of their different sounds!

It was a wonderful week full of learning and laughter. We can't wait to learn all about pet animals next week! Thank you!
