Fruits
As the weather is getting warmer, May you kindly change their sleeping blankets and change clothes so they can be comfortable.
• Please log in to Class Dojo every morning for updates, and important announcements.
• Kindly label all of your child’s belongings (clothes, bottles, bags, lunch bags, cutlery etc.) to avoid any mix-ups.
- May you kindly apply sunscreen on our little ones in case we go outside, just to protect their skin from direct sunlight.
• Ensure your child brings extra clothes and diapers, so they stay comfortable throughout the day.
May we kindly dress our toddlers in school uniforms when they come to school.
Hello Safari family.
Welcome back to yet another healthy adventure we went on, exploring different fruits. Our new fruit for the week was a raspberry. Although they confused it with a strawberry most of the time.
On Tuesday, we went on to explore some fruits, name them and their colors too. We then introduced our letter sound for the week : /a/. This was a very exciting sound for us and we pasted the small letter /a/ onto the big A.
On Wednesday, we made an apple jam jar. Using an apple to stamp onto our jar. We also learnt that apples have small seeds inside the, and they enjoyed feeling the texture of an apple as well.
On Thursday, we matched our numbers to their fruits. They had to pick a fruit and decide how many fruits were on the paper. They then picked a corresponding number and pasted it onto another paper. Counting is so much fun when we have fruits.
On Friday, we had a physical activity of following instructions. To make our everyday communication easier, we decided to put words into action. They were jumping onto floor rings following the sequence : open, shut them, open, shut them, give a little tap tap!
I'm happy we managed to make it through the week, and let's have another one!
