Welcome Back, Pond Class! Happy Term 2!

Curriculum highlights

What a wonderful start to Term 2 in our new campus! We were so happy to see our little ones settling into their new school and environment so well. There were lots of big smiles, happy laughter, and exciting runs around our new playground!

Our main goal this week was to help everyone feel safe, comfortable, and happy in their new classroom. Monday and Tuesday were all about exploring our new space, learning our new routines, and getting comfortable with our teachers and friends.

On Wednesday, we had a fun Name Recognition Activity. The children looked at their pictures and names and started learning to recognize their own belongings, such as their cubbies and backpacks.

On Thursday, we made our very own “My School” craft! The children decorated their school pictures with crayons and proudly pasted their own photos on the windows.

On Friday, we enjoyed color matching and sorting activities while also working on our fine motor skills.

We also added the ABC Song and counting from 1–10 to our morning routine, and the children really loved joining in!

What a fun first week back! We are so excited to see what Term 2 brings!
