As we begin, here are a few important reminders to help our days run smoothly:
• Please log in to Class Dojo every morning for updates, and important announcements.
• Kindly label all of your child’s belongings (clothes, bottles, bags, lunch bags, cutlery etc.) to avoid any mix-ups.
• Ensure your child brings extra clothes and diapers, so they stay comfortable throughout the day.

Curriculum highlights

Hello Safari family .

We introduced our theme for the week and named our family members. the most common one was the baby finger, which they are all fond of. Hence we now have a baby doll to take care of, as Safari baby. They did a group activity, which helps in securing boundaries and also sharing things. They are getting better by the day!

On Tuesday, we went on to personalize our family members to be specific. They each had a family tree of their own and had to paste their family members. They were first naming them, referring to the family pictures on the wall. They were so happy to do so, and it was a fun activity.

On Wednesday, we had our first emergency drill for the year. With this, we get to visit the nearest school where we will take cover . They enjoyed the walk and we tried to explain the reason for our visit there! We later took a walk in the arcade.

On Thursday, we had to try and dress up our "babies". We had a stuffed doll activity where they would practice self help skills! This only was a vest version of them clothing. Just to make them familiarize with dressing up themselves, or the other person.

On Friday, we had to try some fine motor activities. They wear making a mess by tearing flower paper into small pieces then try to pick them up using tongs.
